Description: Maolbhuidhe (pronounced 'mull-voo-ee') is a former croft house, standing in the centre of 24 acres of croft land on a side road about a mile from the village of Fionnphort (Iona Ferry). We have panoramic views in all directions including Iona, the Treshnish Isles and Ben More. The ideal Isle of Mull Bed and Breakfast for couples, families and small groups. Our guest suite has a spacious family room with one king-size and one single bed, and a sitting room which has a comfortable double sofa-bed. Our accommodation is suitable for couples, families with children or small groups, but we only take one party at a time (a maximum of five people), so you are assured of peace and total privacy. We are a NO SMOKING household. Location: Fionnphort, on the tip of the Ross of Mull, is an ideal centre for exploring the Ross itself, and for visiting the islands of Staffa (Fingal's Cave), Lunga (for bird-watching) and, of course, Iona. With a population slightly over 150 (including the surrounding area), Fionnphort has just one pub and one shop with post office. The Keel Row (pub) serves excellent food; it is often very busy, so it's better to get there early. |
