Craigelachie Hotel

Description: George and Carole-Anne bought Craigelachie in 1996 and have spent the last few years tastefully refurbishing the entire house, taking it from a one star rating to its present 4 star rating. Edinburgh has been home for the Oag's since they were born and George, after having spent 30 plus years in the hotel and catering industry, is delighted to welcome guests to Craigelachie. George held the position of head chef in many of Edinburgh's restaurants as well as managing golf clubs, bars and restaurants. Craigelachie is ideally placed for guests to venture out to many of the city attractions. Located in the heart of Murrayfield, the city is only a short bus ride away or a fifteen minute walk for those who like to explore by foot. Although many guests initially choose Craigelachie because of its location, the reason that many return is the warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Location: A short taxi journey will take you to all the city's main theatres and galleries. Murrayfield Stadium is just round the corner and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre is a brisk stroll away.
