Lauriston Castle with its historic value and peaceful grounds is only five minutes walking distance. It is a must for those interested in Derbyshire Blue John and Tapestries and late Victorian and Edwardian times. It has an extensive collection of period furniture and a beautiful Japanese garden which you can visit. It boasts a tremendous view over the firth of forth towards the famous St Andrews golf course which is just over an hours drive away. Also part of the Lauriston Castle Estate is the Lauriston Farm restaurant which has an excellent menu and proves very popular with many of our guests. Many places can be visited in a day from us. Our favourites include Pitlochry, Blair Atholl, Stirling, Fort William, St Andrews and Glencoe. |
